Blessed Are the Peacemakers

My mind has been "trained" to muse about green pastures and bubbling creeks and maybe the song of a bird or two when the word PEACE comes to mind. Today was somewhat of an abrupt departure from all that.

Matthew 5:9 says "Blessed are the peacemakers; (for they shall be called the children of God.")

The word PEACE looks like it's on some wild ride bouncing all over the place; there are some pot holes in this life for sure and we DO hit the bumps of all kinds in the road whether it's ailments, annoyances, or attitudes. Blam blam blam!
DANG, THERE GOES MY PEACE!!!!!

When we "make" our peace by our choices, something lovely comes rushing in and the volume of the ailments, annoyances and attitudes gets turned down low low low and then

OFF.

I never knew that peace could be so blissfully LOUD and I am beyond thankful for the BEAUTY it brings in a room, heart, soul, and relationships.

Crank the peace, man…
